Allama Iqbal
Muhammad Iqbal (November 9, 1877 – April 21, 1938), also known as Allama Iqbal is one of the greatest poet of all times.He is considered having inspired the Pakistan moment,he is also taken as "the nation poet of pakistan".One of the most important figure in urdu litratures and persian litrature as well.Also recongnised as "The poet of the East"

لگتا نہیں ہے جی مرا اُجڑے دیار میں
کس کی بنی ہے عالمِ ناپائدار میں
بُلبُل کو باغباں سے نہ صَیَّاد سے گلہ
قسمت میں قید لکّھی تھی فصلِ بہار میں
یا مجھے افسرِ شاہانہ بنایا ہوتا
یا مرا تاج گدایانہ بنایا ہوتا
اپنا دیوانہ بنایا مجھے ہوتا تُو نے
کیوں خرد مند بنایا، نہ بنایا ہوتا
